At the age of thirteen, I dug a hole in my backyard, filled it with charcoal and used my mother’s hairdryer to make a simple forge. From this humble start, I have found an unending supply of joy from pursuing the creative process. At the age of seventeen, I founded Pelagos Custom, the only commercial speargun company in the state of Oklahoma. This business allowed me to showcase my work, while designing unique products that furthered my desire for adventure. Though Pelagos, I learned how to craft and sell professional grade products while also pursuing my love for the outdoors. Today, I am a senior at the Colorado School of Mines. I am pursing a degree in design engineering to serve as the technical foundation. I am very much still a beginner and will be learning for the rest of my life.
